Tippmann is excited to officially release the X7 Phenom, a next-generation .68 caliber electro pneumatic paintball marker that’s truly in a class of its own. The unmatched benefits of this new electro pneumatic marker include improved air efficiency, superior accuracy, manual or electronic firing, the flexibility to use either CO2 or compressed air and the ability to accept more than 20 existing X7 mods. 1. It may be at half of the operating pressure, but if it's more than double the volume for the air resevoir, then you're actually getting fewer shots. That's the same for any spool valve.
2. I still don't get how it can transfer from mechanical to electronic and back. If it's mechanical, it needs a sear. But they say that it's searless, so it has to operate mechanically. So, how does this operate mechanically?
The gas-thru grip, side-operated velocity adjustment and spring-recoil spool valve make this seem a whole lot like the TM-15. Possibility that KEE might be trying to acquire Tippmann?
