General Forum Posting Rules
1. Please read any rules associated with a particular Forum Group before posting. Many of our forums are specific and have a specific set of rules applied to them. Be sure to read and review that any post your make follows any particular guidelines associated with a specific forum.
2. Do not post "First post", "1st", "1st post", "First", or anything like that. It just becomes a nuisance.
3. Do NOT spam. Do NOT spam. Do NOT spam. Do NOT spam.
4. Do not post in all capital letters, use excessive punctuation, etc. This practice is used to draw attention to ones post. While everyone wants their posts read, we ask that you refrain from using sensational tactics in order to bring more people to your thread. Let your post stand on its own merit.
5. You may only bump a thread when the post becomes lost and the initial question is not answered. If your thread becomes lost after a few days and the initial questions were not answered. You may post stating that you are still looking for information. Rather then creating a new thread, we will allow you to bump a thread SPARINGLY.
6. Do not bump post, unless for the reason(s) above. The act of bumping ones post is considered spamming and contributes nothing constructive to the discussion. Your thread will be seen; there is no need to continually bump it to the top of the list.
7. Use the search to find what you are looking before creating a new thread. No point in creating another thread when someone else has already done so.
8. All inappropriate posts will be deleted. If this becomes a problem with certain users, your user name will be banned.
FORUM OFFENSES & PUNISHABLE ACTIVITIES
1. All Inappropriate Material
Offensive material is prohibited. Offensive is a pretty broad term, but we think you know what we mean. (You're going to have to trust our judgment, if you don't.) This includes any messages or material that are ethnically, racially, religiously or sexually offensive, insulting or demeaning. It also includes messages that are harassing or threatening to others. In other words, if you wouldn't like it said about you, don't say it about others. We don't want to be censors, but non-constructive negative comments may be inappropriate.
2. All Inappropriate Posts Pertaining to Personal Information
We promise to respect you and we need you to respect others. That means that we will remove any phone number, address or other personally identifying information posted in any section if it violates someone's privacy, is harassing or could lead to harassment or is otherwise inappropriate. Also, any posting of your own phone number, address or any other personally identifying information is prohibited.
3. All Inappropriate Posts Pertaining to Scams
Non-sanctioned contests, money making schemes, lottery contests, referral sites (both links and games) are not permitted. Pyramid schemes are scams, don't work, and nobody here wants to hear about them. They are considered spam and are not allowed. Don't discuss any illegal activities. This includes piracy and other forms of intellectual property infringement! Do not impersonate someone else or pretend to be an employee of a company you are not affiliated with. Users may not commit Posting Fraud by pretending to be a 2nd user in order to post positive or negative reviews of products or comment on topics as though they were two separate unconnected users. All accounts involved in Posting Fraud will be permanently banned from use.

We reserve the right to monitor the boards and delete any postings that don't adhere to these rules. This includes postings that disrupt or interfere with our technical operations. Finally, because we can't think of everything offensive or inappropriate that may be said, we reserve the right to immediately delete any posting or ban any user at our sole discretion. (Sorry, but it might be necessary.)
